Just three and a half hours out of Bangkok is a place called Wang Nam Khiao - a district of the Nakhon Ratchasima province. Mostly overlooked by tourist and tourism companies, but a unique gem where there is so much to see and do. WNK is reported to have the cleanest air in Thailand and the place where most Bangkokians go to experience really cold weather during the winter season, hence it is often referred to as the Switzerland of Thailand.
WNK boasts some amazing floral gardens, strawberry fields magnificant countryside with rolling hills and valleys, lush with vegetation. You can experience all of this whilest staying at one of numerous resorts, each situated in the tranquil settings of unspoilt nature. A weekend in Wang Nam Khiao might not be enough with so much to do and see. Here you can spread your time visiting numerous themed floral parks, exploring the national parks with its stunning cliffs and views or visiting the magnificent and exotic temples. Wild life viewing is a big attraction in WNK and if you're lucky, you might even get to see the majestic gaur (Indian bison).
Of course cycling is a big part of the WNK experience, so with our tours you have a choice of extreme off-road cycling along countryside gravel paths to tranquil relaxed cycling around lakes and dams with quint coffee shops to refresh you. For this tour there is no set itinerary. Each tour is tailor made according to your requirements and availability. You have the option of doing a one day or two day tour, although we reccommend two days because of the travelling time to and from Wang Nam Khiao. Accommodation can be a comfortable resort set in extremely tranquil surroundings or if you'd like to have a more local experience, you can choose to camp (in tents) at a Thai family's home. Please also inform us whether you have your own transport to WNK or if we need to arrange transport for you. Once you have given us an indication of your preferences, we will present you with various itineraries from which you could choose. The price of the tour will depend on your choice of itinerary.
